Horizon Systems the desktop application does not require an account to use. IP-based geolocation is used locally to auto-center the map on first launch and is not stored or transmitted to us. Horizon Systems integrates data from multiple national and regional radar, alert, and lightning networks. Each data source remains the property of its originating provider. Full per-network attribution is listed in the Radar Networks documentation page. See the Partnerships page for details on how provider terms are respected.

Horizon Systems only enables a data network once we have appropriate authorization from that provider. Redistribution of raw data (such as Level II or ODIM HDF5 volumes) is subject to the originating provider's own licensing terms, which may restrict redistribution, require attribution, or limit use to non-commercial purposes.
